The Directorate of School Education, Government of Mizoram, has invited applications for recruitment to the post of Lower Division Clerk (LDC) (PE) under the School Education Department. A total of 15 vacancies are available. The post carries Pay Matrix Level-4 with a monthly pay of ₹16,920/-. Eligibility

  • Candidates must fulfil the prescribed educational, age, computer qualification, typing and Mizo language requirements.
  • Age Limit: 18 to 35 years as on 15 September 2026.
  • For SC/ST candidates, an additional relaxation of up to 5 years may be allowed.
  • For Ex-servicemen, age relaxation may be allowed as per Rule 5 of the Mizoram Ex-servicemen (Re-employment in Civil Post) Rules, 2019.
  • Candidates must have working knowledge of Mizo language at least up to Middle School standard.

Qualifications

  • 1. HSSLC from a recognised institution.
  • 2. Diploma in Computer Application Semester-I / Certificate Course on Computer Application or above from an institution recognised by AICTE or any institution recognised by the Central or State Government/UT Administration under the Union of India.
  • 3. Typing speed of 30 words per minute.
  • 4. Working knowledge of Mizo language at least up to Middle School standard.
