The Women, Child, Senior Citizen & Divyangjan Welfare Department, Government of Sikkim, has invited applications from eligible local candidates for contractual posts under Mission Saksham & Poshan 2.0. A total of 10 vacancies are available across 5 posts. The monthly remuneration ranges from ₹9,000 to ₹60,000 depending on the post. Eligible candidates are required to submit their applications along with the requisite documents on or before 26 August 2026 by 2:00 PM. Selection will be conducted through a walk-in interview on 2 September 2026 from 10:30 AM onwards.

Eligibility

  • Applications are invited from eligible local candidates fulfilling the prescribed eligibility criteria for the respective posts.
  • Age Limit: As per State Government norms.
  • Candidates must be in good physical and mental health and capable of discharging their duties.
  • The selected candidates shall be posted in any district of the State.

Qualifications

  • PG degree/diploma in Management/Computer Applications/Computer Science or B.Tech/BE in IT/Computer Engineering or PG in Science with formal training on IT/computer with at least 55% marks.
  • At least 3 years' experience in IT/ICT Systems implementation and analysis.
  • Project management experience.
  • Extensive experience in development and implementation of web-based applications and mobile applications and demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in M&E methodologies.
  • Preferably any retired government officers having sound knowledge on Planning/Monitoring/Evaluation/Health/Nutrition.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and conversant in local language.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Graduate in Computer Science or IT.
  • At least 2 years work experience in the relevant field.
  • Formal training in IT/mobile applications.
  • Experience in working with technology and software application support.
  • Previous experience in working with front line workers of Government Department and training on IT/Mobiles/Computer.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in local language.
  • Graduation Degree/Post Graduate Diploma in Management/Social Sciences/Nutrition.
  • Minimum 2 years experience of capacity building, with supervisory skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in local language and fair skills in English.
  • Good computer skills/knowledge of internet/email.
  • Ability to work in a team and willingness to travel extensively.
  • Class XII with diploma in computer application of 3 months.
  • Class X and above.
