  • 1. Must hold a degree in Law from a recognised University.
  • 2. Must be practising as an Advocate in Courts of Civil and Criminal jurisdiction on the last date fixed for receipt of applications.
  • 3. Must have practised as an Advocate for at least 7 years.
  • 4. Government pleaders and public prosecutors are included within the definition of Advocate.
  • 5. In-service Judicial Officers must fulfil the prescribed 7-year Bar/Judicial Officer/combined Advocate and Judicial Officer experience requirement.
  • 6. Must have sufficient working knowledge of the State Official Language, Manipuri.
  • 7. Certificate of Practice/Experience in the prescribed format must be uploaded with the application.
  • 8. Minimum age is 35 years.
  • 9. Maximum age is 45 years for other candidates, 48 years for OBC candidates and 50 years for SC/ST candidates.
