Pay scale₹30,000 per month in the first year, ₹33,000 in the second year, ₹36,500 in the third year and ₹40,000 in the fourth year. In-hand amount is approximately 70% of the monthly package. Risk & Hardship, Dress and Travel allowances are applicable as per rules. Ration, clothing, accommodation and Leave Travel Concession are also provided as per applicable rules.
Age limitBorn between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2009, both dates inclusive. Upper age limit on the date of enrolment is 22 years.

Eligibility

  • Candidate must be an unmarried Indian male or female candidate.
  • Candidate must be born between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2009, both dates inclusive.
  • Upper age limit on the date of enrolment is 22 years.
  • Candidate must satisfy the applicable domicile requirement.
  • Candidate must fulfil the prescribed educational qualification.
  • Candidate must meet the prescribed physical and medical standards.
  • Female candidates must not be pregnant at the time of medical examination.
  • Candidates must undertake not to marry during the four-year engagement period.

Qualifications

  • Passed Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent examination in any stream with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
  • OR
  • Passed two-year Vocational Course with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
  • OR
  • Passed three-year Diploma Course in Engineering in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation Technology/Information Technology with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
